RHIC Long-range beam-beam compensator


The ring devices are located in the Sector 5 warm bore.
The Blue BBLR device approaches the beam from below, & the Yellow from above.
Stepper motion is controlled from pet/RHIC/Instrumentation/BBLR_Motion/Motion.
Full range is 2.65" = 65.024mm = about 320,000 steps. Maximum velocity is 8,000 steps per second.
