Fri 04/02/04 The RHIC Run-4 gold-gold operation has ended.

Major run achievements:
 - Start-up/ramp-up in 4 weeks (1 week less than planned)
- Consistently higher bunch intensities (109Au) delivered by injectors
- Time in store increased to 53% (65% at 31.2GeV/u) [Plot]
- Reliable and almost complete rebucketing
- Luminosity steering and collimator setting time reduced to 10min
- Best 7 days delivered 179 μb-1 to Phenix (20-Feb to 26-Feb)
- Set-up for 31.2GeV/u run in less than 2 days
