We present highlights of computational accelerator physics work at Tech-X Corporation. Our parallel particle-in-cell simulations of beam-driven plasma acceleration are relevant to the E-157 experiment at SLAC. We are using the Python scripting language to prototype tools relevant to the steering of high-performance codes written in Fortran, C and C++, including an implementation of MPI in Python for parallel applications. We have a prototype cross-platform GUI for the MAD-9 accelerator design code, which interactively generates beamline survey and Twiss plots. We are also using JAVA, CORBA, C++ and Python to make a variety of data sets and Fortran applications web accessible for fusion scientists.
