RHIC Warm Space Devices
This page is intended as a clearing house of information for the
various groups and individuals interested in the limited amount of
warm space available in RHIC. As such, it is closely related to the
work of the "Warm Space Committee".
The "sketches" which are attached, below, show the longitudinal
layout of the warm devices at each Interaction Point (IP). They are a
poor mans version of engineering drawings, since:
- they do not show any transverse detail, or interferences
- they are deliberately "quantized" longitudinally, on a
0.1 or 1.0 meters grid
