The performance
of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at collision energy is limited by the
field quality of the interaction region (IR) quadrupoles and dipoles. This
workshop will bring together CERN, FNAL, KEK , BNLand other interested
personnel to address Interaction Region magnet field quality issues, to
review the principle and efficiency of correction and compensation schemes,
and to finalize a compensation plan and corrector layout for the LHC Interaction
Region. The workshop scope will cover FNAL and KEK built quadrupoles, BNL
built separation dipoles, and European Interaction Region correctors.
