For example, the values of body b6 and b10 have been reduced, while db4, sig(b6), db10, and sig(b10) have increased. The values for Lead-End and Return-End have been tentatvely determined with a combination of measured values and a new calculation. The calculated b6 and b10 in the new calculation indicate much smaller numbers than 1 unit.m, but we still keep conservative numbers. The length of the return end is now listed as 0.3 [m]. Quoted harmonic values are given in "units" of 10^-4 of the main quadrupole field at 17 mm reference radius. European convention: b2 is quadrupole! Magnetic length of the straight section: Q1/Q3: L = 6.3 [m] - L(lead end) - L(return end) Q2a/Q2b: L = 5.5 [m] - L(lead end) - L(return end) where L(lead end) = 0.45 [m], and L(return end) = 0.3 [m].
